You know what's disgusting? Nfags are gonna hail this shitty Metroid game as evidence of an amazing 3rd-party line-up. They already put shit like Gladiator A.D., The Conduit, Rabbids Go Home, and TMNT Smash in their listwars.txt file as reasons why the third-party line-up is any good... it's pathetic.

Most of those games wouldn't even get acknowledged on the 360 or PS3.

We get Street Fighter IV, RE5, Red Faction and they get Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

So I guess the question of the Nfags is answered, as in third parties don't have anything AAA to announce on Wiiwii. The "we outsource a Nintendo IP to a third party and call it a day" shtick is supposed to tell everybody how great their third party support is. But I don't see shit besides of alternative titles from the big publishers, low budget shit from everyone else, an FF spin-off. EVen fucking Monster Hunter 3 is coming to PSP as well.

I would get New Mario, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, but I refuse to pay $250 knowing that I am going to need to buy remotes, nunchuks, Wii Motion pluses, balance board, etc.

How much does it cost to buy a Nintendo Wii with 4 remotes, 4 nunchuks, 4 wii motion pluses, a balance board, and the vitality sensor?

All of a sudden everyone loves Prime series by default? Bleh, I didn't care for it, so ANY new approach is welcome for me, and Team Ninja is no slouch. Not sure why everyone is so down on that move.

First console Metroid since Super Metroid that isn't an FPS is reason alone to be optimistic in my book.

Obviously, Metroid Other M was a HUGE MEGA-SHOCK, because, we (or most of us) thought 3D console Metroid games would be rested for a long time (maybe for the rest of this gen) since Metroid Prime 3 Corruption just came out summer 2007, wrapping up the Prime trilogy. Most of us, including me, thought a new Zelda, Kid Icarus or new IP would show up in addition to a new Mario game.

Galaxy 2 wasn't a huge surprise in the same sense as this new Metroid, but Galaxy 2 was a pleasant surprise.


I know Zelda Wii was talked about at the Miyamoto roundtable, including some artwork and Miyamoto's desire to reveal the game next year.

Overall this was a better E3 for Nintendo than last year, even though the vast majority of the press conference SUCKED very badly. It was saved by Galaxy 2 and Metroid. Still, those games aren't coming until fall 2010, assuming no delays. I wouldn't count on Zelda until fall 2011.

BTW that was some funny shit that happened on GAF with camineet. Poor Nfag.

It surprised me that they're churning out a new main series Mario title this quickly rather than have a five year space in between. Although this one looks so similar to Galaxy it may as well be version 1.5 of the game.

I figured this year we would see a brief glimpse of the specifically developed for Wii Zelda title.

As it is, Metroid Other M is the only game that remotely looked interesting, and its basically Ninja Gaiden with Metroid characters.

Sadly this will do nothing but hurt people like me who want hardcore games on the wii. The more you pirate hardcore wii games, the less likely we will see devs making hardcore games on the wii. Then again most people would prefer that.
