Microsoft had too much news for the keynote, so they're taking care of the spillover now: First up, full Xbox Live games on demand. That's right, you can download Mass Effect, Bioshock and more. Using a real credit card—no Xbox Live points. Oh happy day.

Good, I hate going to the game store to buy a game, I'm much too lazy for that.
My Backlog is about to get a lot bigger.

If Microsoft allowed OEM HDDs, I'd probably be excited.

I think people prefer how it is today, downloading for free.

That way you also get the new games.

Stupid ass MS. I'm sure at least half the X3DO userbase in Europe pirates games.

Wow, so you admit that the MS attach ratio for 360 is two times higher than Microsoft states? :kerry

The games on demand option certainly sounds like MSFT is hinting at much larger HDD's becoming an option soon.

You'll only have to take out a loan to afford the bigger HDD. I'm not for this at all. Same price as retail without
the price drop that the retailers give after a while. No thanks.

The attach rate is to show how much each gamer pays for games, moron. If it's pirated it shouldn't effect your attach rate.

I agree totally with that, but, if the prices are competitive to places like Gamestop Wal*Mart etc then that's good news.
Too bad they're jews when it comes to peripheral pricing.

As reported earlier this week, the Games on Demand feature will let Xbox 360 owners buy and download full games to their console using a credit or debit card, as well as Microsoft points.

The reason why I think this is important is because there usually deals on MS points, meaning cheaper games, or those free giveaways you can exploit and shit.

Uh, what?

Pirating would effect the attach rate. The attach rate is how many games sold per unit hardware. It's something like 8.3 on 360 right now.

Although I'm certain pirating is nothing like as common as Metric suggests.

Thats exactly why I figured they WOULDNT allow points to be used.

The scammers on GAF like Wario 64 pointed that out very quickly.

MS does need to slash HDD prices. I expect that and bigger HDD's are coming.

I'm thinking of buying an Elite really. I mean, paying 150 for a 120GB HDD, I can get close to that after selling my current box, ya know?

The 60GB buyers are lucky..

Anybody know about those supposed chinese knockoff HDD on ebay?

Allowing MS points is awesome. I can buy those online for less or find the deals that occasionally pop up.

Not going to be giving MS my bank info, no thanks.
