You guys were right, TLDR didn't work out. The community was too foreign. It just wasn't OA.
I've decided that I'm OK with having a smaller subset of posters on another OA, and I'd appreciate it if some of the best posters here would register and give it a shot. You don't have to leave this place, which is understandable, but I think the new forum could be good. Thanks goes out to tjhooker for setting up NEOOA.com and reminding me again of its existence.
I have to say, I am super impressed by NEOOA's forum software. Sure, it's free, but it's amazingly fast. WAY faster than the non-free invision software. We probably won't have to worry about OA being down because of a rainstorm in Oklahoma either, with Annon not able to reset it for days.
It also has an old-school OA vibe to it, that I can dig.
