My fave games-

Fable Coin Golf- Just maybe the best game yet. Stellar graphics, great pull back and release controls ala angry birds, and the ability to transfer your coins to Fable 3.

5 out of 5

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011- It's another solid mobile game with console like production values. The only gripe I have against this is the pass and kick on screen buttons are a bit tricky to master; I often over shoot the goal due to holding the button too long. Surprisingly, for a touchscreen mobile game, controlling your character using the virtual d-pad works very well.

4 out of 5

OMG Our Manic Game- Best mobile shooter I've played. Amazing graphics and great music.

microsoft, dropping the ball since 1972.

if ms had any brains winph7 would be THE smartphone gaming platform. That would be it's hook over other platforms. and a great hook too.

All great choices for games. Right now I'm playing skydiver classic. Simple fun little game

We still need more and better games though instead of all these useless apps

Aside from the good graphics(for a handheld), the only redeeming quality of WP7 games are achievements IMO. Still can't see myself gaming on a god damn phone

nice! Looking forward to this game...

I love wp7 gaming.. Play the hell out of the Xbox live titles..

looking forward to any improvements mango brings to the Xbox Live integration.. As well as the hydro thunder and sonic releases..

Is this really a timed exclusive?

bought pacman dx at that pricey $7. the demo with options for different bgm's and backgrounds sold me, along with the great swipe controls. dx's matrix like slowdown when near ghost make this game very playable.

btw, OMG is the deal of the week. at $2, it is a steal.

All the reviews say that Pac-Man CE DX has great controls. Very surprised as I always thought Pac-Man on a touch screen would be terrible.

Here's the WP7 Xbox Live release schedule for the next 7 weeks:

Pac-Man CE DX (May 18)
Hydro Thunder GO! (May 25)
Doodle Jump (June 1)
geoDefense (June 8)
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (June 15)
Plants vs. Zombies (June 22)
Angry Birds (June 29)

I really don't understand the success of a brain dead game like Angry Birds. It doesn't seem like other amateur developers are having any trouble recreating the same exact game at equal or better quality:

It's amazing how four years ago we were speculating whether or not MS would release a handheld system. And here we are four years later and it's a moot point since with powerful processors like ARM and Tegra, standalone handhelds are now a niche. Lo and behold out of the three console manufacturers MS is ahead of the curve.

Once the 3DS and NGP fail--and quote me on this--both systems will be abject failures...colossal bombs, Nintendo and Sony will have to include their brands on mobile phones. In a couple of years we might be playing Mario and Uncharted on Windows Phone 7 or iPhone.

i think any console quality mobile game for under $10 is a great value. i am loving pacman dx.

i remember reading articles near the end of the dreamcast's life about "SOC," aka system on a chip, and reading we'd be seeing dreamcast quality graphics on handhelds soon enough. well, i'd say they're here.

Love Hydro Thunder Go. The controls are pretty solid. I rarely get any slowdown in the framerate on my focus. Fun ass game that should sell quite a bit. Can't wait for more games of this caliber to be released.

Damn, hydro thunder go is friggin awesome!

I'm addicted.. Awesome gfx, controls, achievements, unlockables, etc..

The courses are great too. Great design, themes, shortcuts..

I'm in love. I hope we see alot more mobile games with this level of polish and depth..

I added the two hydro mobilegamertags to compete with the developers.. You guys do the same?

Hahaha at that Timedancer. Hydrothunder looks excellent!!!

I really want a Windows phone but I've got another 8 months on my contract before I will consider getting one. Hopefully WP7 won't be dead by then and Verizon will have a few choices.
