I showed this to my brother and he said he wants it :lol

He's just that kind of crazy dude that would buy this kind of over the top thing, just because.

It's got a lot of buzz on engadget too. Just like I told you guys it'd be a hit.

I kinda like 4.7 better though.

Seems like a first smartphone for people that've never used a smartphone before and think they'll be using it for written note with a stylus, an idea that might sound cool in their head until they have the thing in their hands and realize both how retardly large it is and how already functional the touch keyboard is for writing.

I dont even give a flip about the stylus. The appeal is it's by far the biggest smartphone ever.

Although my brother noticed the screen capture is actually pretty cool. Apparently you can draw on the screen (be it a map or whatever) then you tap it to cap, and you would then send it to people.

can't think of a good use case that validates the massive size.

I like samsung as a company, but can we all agree that these devices are basically exact copies of the iPhone?

Just looking at that picture I have to shake my head.

I never said anything about Microsoft. I like Microsoft, I like samsung, I like Apple, I like Google.

Now let's all be adults and admit it; that phone looks exactly like an iPhone.

The part where they show using the stylus to cut the shoe out of the picture sold me, as well as all the other photo editing options. What phone allows any of that?

Definitely not apple.

I think the phone looks and will be amazing, especially when the Cyanogen type mods come out for it. I personally, don't understand the hate. This isn't a mainstream phone in any way. It's a hybrid for people who want a Google Tablet, but with the portability of a phone. It's a pretty decent compromise if you ask me. Besides, this thing is a beast under the hood. If you only care about the "phone" aspect, get the Galaxy S II.

I can't see who the market for this would be other than maybe people who are nearly blind or doctors who want to write digital notes all day. Very impractical device.

the thought of an HD Super AMOLED+ 5" screen makes me salivate but besides web browsing, will we see any apps like Netflix take advantage of it? I love that Samsung is pushing the screen size and resolution but will other makers and developers follow?
