Trying to tell myself it's for the best and just forget. I know seeing her again would likely just make it worse, and I honestly don't want her to break up with the guy she is with now.

He seems like a good guy and lord knows she needs that.

I wouldn't do that. I've still got quite a bit to live for.

My gf knows something is wrong, I've been in a funk for months now. They say the woman always knows.

I'll get over this eventually, it always takes me a few months to get over hard crushes. I think this one will be different as the crush extended far further than any other crush I've ever had.
