Napolitano on Fox Business sums up American politics in five minutes. Pretty much what Noam Chomsky has been saying since the 70s (also with the Ron Paul endorsement int he 70s).

Ron Paul :fudance

beautiful.

Those kind of events serve only to raise Dr. Paul's stock in the eyes of Upper Level Management and the other candidates.

Did all the Ron Paul people here give up on Dr. Paul?

This thread is basically dead and today is Super Tuesday. Paul's last stand against the forces of plutocracy.

Is it due to Paul's obvious defense of Romney that killed the enthusiasm?

He's obviously not winning. I'm personally not delusional. I don't regret voicing support for the only anti-war candidate running in either major party, though. Hopefully he runs third party. He obviously has enough support to get up there on stage with Romney and Obama and feed them a little reality about their hatred for Muslims and brown people.

I'm more embarrassed for Tiny Tim that he buys into the Democrat vs Republican shit more than he does his actual principles.

Paul has a shot at winning Alaska, North Dakota, Idaho and Vermont today. That's about it. He'll go into the convention with several hundred delegates and we'll see what happens but it looks less likely there will be a brokered convention with Santorum sinking.

I thought he had a shot of winning a few states that passed by, but he's underwhelmed me every time. I guess he just has a very loud group of supporters, but not that many of them. I've observed he's the only candidate who's got hundreds of people out there with bumperstickers, signs and billboards everywhere I go, whereas the others are completely invisible (I do see Obama '12 stickers once in a while).

Actually, I did see a Romney sticker the other day...

This whole time people in this thread have argued the Ron Paul campaign wants to destroy all the non-Romney candidates so that RP is the only alternative to Romney left. Yet you watch polls where such a scenario is reality, the upcoming Virginia primary, and RP is blown out of the water.

http://www.realclear...mary1-3099.html

Quote

Romney 69 Paul 26 (NBC NEWS/Marist) *latest poll*
Romney 56 Paul 21 (Roanoke College)
Romney 53 Paul 23 (CNU Times Dispatch)
Romney 68 Paul 19 (Quinnipiac)

Either a whole bunch of people will stay home in Virginia or RP is so repulsive that Romney is still preferable.

Bring on the negs!

Nah, you're right. Running a campaign where you blame America for 9/11 and coming anywhere near victory would be impossible for anyone.

Over the last year I saw Republicans attempt to kill Medicare for anybody under the age of 55 and go nuts when anything they deem anti-Christian be put to law whether its allowing gays to serve in the U.S. military openly or contraception for women from religious hospitals.

On state fronts I saw Republicans busting union worker rights, making things harder for immigrants, making anti-abortion laws to shame women into giving forced birth, and multiple attempts at trying to overturn a Presidential election over the idea of a fraudulent birth certificate.

Don't tell me there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats.

There are similarities. Especially over war and protection of Wall Street and banks, but the differences are many and varied.
