Honestly I keep thinking about getting a windows phone for the stability but then I read reminders like this " Android is truly Windows on a phone, which is what I always wanted. I dont know wtf WP7 is." And think to myself oh that's right. I can't even choose my own fucking keyboard in wp. I was the biggest supporter of windows mobile too. Android is indeed its true successor

WP has the best keyboard across all platforms, why would you want to install anything else? i can understand the need for different browsers but microsoft is addressing that with the next major upgrade.

my issue with android is that there is no design coherency between 1st party apps and 3rd party apps. they are pushing developers to follow a design language now but they are behind microsoft in this area. you'll find most 3rd party apps for WP using metro; it creates a great user experience.

Gizmodo Has an interesting interview with Sam Moreau of Microsoft's design guru. There are other things about the Windows 8 design in here but there's some WP tidbits too.

I've been using T9 for probably 10 years now. Any regular keyboard is just frustrating for one handed use on a touch screen because I never use landscape unless I'm watching a video. Once crymoar mod 9 is done for the touchpad I'll base my next phone purchase on how stable ics is.
