They released a few games last year, promised they'd release one or two games a week, and then just stopped.

Did no one buy the stuff they released? I mean, I imagine no one wants shit like Tak 2 and Full Spectrum Warrior but I would have thought a few people would've picked up some of the other stuff like God Hand and Odin Sphere.

Sniggers just don't FUCKING get it. Sony just announces shit to win the PR bullet-point war whenever there's a trade show. Then Sniggers proclaim just how much more superior the PS3 is to the competition because it has more bullet-points. Mission accomplished. Months go by and Sony quietly shelves plans and Sniggers by and large move on to the next Sony bullet-point war. Rinse and repeat until the generation is over and no one gives a fuck about Sony's mountain of broken promises.

Maybe if the PS2 library weren't such shit they wouldn't have so much trouble finding "classics."

There's the SMT games, Ring of Red, Rogue Galaxy, Baroque - that's basically it for exclusives.

PSX2 Classics aren't running on BC; they are ports. Ports cost money, and sales do not justify their port cost.

This is the reason why Xbox 3 will be 100% BC with Xbox 360; Microsoft's business model depends on it.

If they're ports, why couldn't they have ported titles that would've been guaranteed to sell better? I already own all the good titles they released on the store, no reason to re-purchase them.

I don't think there have been any PSOne Classics released recently either. Probably just focusing on the Vita right now. I'm sure there will be more PS2 Classics in the future.

Just buy a fucking PS2. I got a slim with extra controller and 8 games for like $55 at GameStop after Christmas.

Everything PS2 was buy 2 get 2 free, I ended up with most of the classics in one swoop.

Eww, Gamestop used games.. I'd rather have the games digitally o PSN. No disc and I can play them with my wireless PS3 controller, also my display does not do component video for the PS2.

Dude, there is zero advantage to getting a game on PSN.

I got Madden 08, MLB the show, NBA 2k, Virtua fighter 4, soul caliber 2, nfl 2k5(yesss!), god of war, GT4, tiger woods, and mgs2 for like $20 total.

Now I can get the other good ones online for pennies and have a nice varied collection.
