My heart literally aches when I hear My Bloody Valentine. There was a one year span of university depression where it was all I could listen to.

It really transports me for some reason.

Same, elgordo. Fancie introduced me to shoegaze via slowdive shortly before a period during university where I just smoked pot and introspected.
