Is owning 3 handhelds overkill?

Would be kinda strange owning three handhelds though, but I feel they each serve their purpose.
I gotta keep the PSP because of my UMD collection and PSOne games(Vita will get support later but I don't want PSOne games taking up memory on my Vita memory card).
The 3DS sorta serves a purpose since it can play 99.9% of original DS games and there may be some cool 3DS games of the future.
The Vita is clearly a must have with its unmatched features and tech and interesting new games coming to it as well.
It seems like too much though. Too many systems.
I don't know if I have time for 3 handhelds so I might have to get rid of either the 3DS or the PSP.

You've won, sequel to the original.
The original can no longer compete.
I am afraid this place is not big enough for the both of us.
It is a shame things must end this way.

And if you're in public, aren't there other things to be doing? I could see it if you had an hour train ride to work every day, but that's not the case. I can't even remember the last time I saw someone playing a portable game system in public...it's all iPod's, smartphones, and laptops.

In public every day I see people in labs posting status updates on Facebook and checking out their friends pics and playing stupid flash games on the internet and sometimes when they should be focused on more important things.
There is a time and place for gaming on the go... its not like when I'm out I'm just playing the damn thing as I'm walking everywhere.
If I'm doing research for a few hours in the library and I need a fucking break(which I normally do) then maybe its a good time for me to play maybe 20-30 minutes of gaming, so I can get away from the monotony of doing my research.

Not that I care about appearances, but a big DORK handheld like the vita?...you might as well have stretched underoos draped over your ass from the last wedgie a cell phone gamer gave you
